PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Within the scope of the project, it is planned to achieve water production at raw water quality along with the ASA recovery unit, which has a discharge amount of 70 m3/h. The recovered water at raw water quality is intended to be used as raw water in the demineralization (water softening) unit and cooling tower. The project is designed to include mechanical filtration/CFS, activated carbon filtration, ultrafiltration system, and reverse osmosis.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: With this project, the aim is to transfer the rich DEA of Plt 47-300 or Plt 63-300 to the Plt 147-400 Amine Unit. At this point, it will be stripped of H2S and sent to the absorbers served by the regeneration columns. This will enable the shutdown of the Plt-48 Sulfur Recovery Unit, and in case of a potential problem, Plt 63-300 Unit can be redirected to Plt 147-400.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: TÜPRAŞ İzmit Refinery Plant 9 and Plant 10 units have experienced increased maintenance costs for their existing air compressors, and frequent breakdowns pose a threat to operational reliability. Due to the risk they present to the refinery's compressed air needs, Basic Engineering Services will be provided for the installation of (2) two oil-free air compressors in the Plant-9 and Plant-10 air system area. This includes determining the capacity of the compressors based on the desired electrical connections, selecting the compressor locations, assessing the feasibility of diesel connections, sizing the required piping for connection to the existing air system, controlling the capacity of existing air receiver drums, compressor control scheme equipment representations, and identifying the equipment necessary for system installation, including thermal and electrical loads, within the scope of the engineering study.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: After the propylene current to be produced in the FCC Unit will pass through a trim cooler and its temperature will be reduced to values that will create free water, it will pass through the prefilter/coalescer and separate the free water. The product from the coalescer will go to the molsieve unit and will be sent to the propylene tanks in the tank area after the propylene stream dissolved water is separated. Propylene tanks can be used in both LPG and propylene service. After the propylene tanks, the product sales lines will pass through the new pump area and continue under the sea until the LPG pier. The product will be sold with the filling arm, which will be newly installed on the LPG pier.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In the top-loading method, the loading pipe that transfers the product is only partially lowered into the tank part of the truck, and during this process significant turbulence and vapor/liquid contact occur, resulting in a high level of steam formation and loss.
Since volatile organic compound emissions occur during loading to the tank truck in the top-loading method, it is aimed to do the loading islands of gasoline-diesel suitable for bottom-loading in order to minimize this situation and make the process safer.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The production of auxiliary services in the RUP area of TÜPRAŞ Izmit Refinery is carried out in the Plt 109 power plant unit. The plant consists of 2 gas turbines, 2 waste heat boilers, and 1 intermediate pressure steam turbine. In the Plt 109 unit, steam is produced at VHP (100 barg), HP (40 barg), MP (11 barg), and LP (5 barg) pressure levels. The produced VHP steam is fed to the 109K-250 steam turbine, where HP and LP steam are withdrawn from intermediate stages and used to generate electricity in the refinery. MP steam is produced by relieving pressure from HP steam using a pressure control valve. The project aims to produce 80 t/h MP steam by installing a new steam turbine instead of breaking it from HP steam, thereby generating electricity.
