PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A new 6500t/day kiln line at SOCOCIM Industries’ Rufisque cement plant was established in Dakar Region. The new line consists of a preheater, in-line Precalciner, kiln, TGT filter and Pillard Novaflam burner. The plant will eventually eliminate the use of fossil fuels, reduce the energy consumption and support Senegalese local development, making a higher quality product while doubling the production capacity.
